How to Install imposm software package in Debian 8 (Jessie)

imposm software package provides importer for OpenStreetMap data, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install imposm

imposm is installed in your system.

Make ensure the imposm package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep imposm *

You will get with imposm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
